After receiving his degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Hochschule Hannover, University of Applied Sciences and Arts, Ahmet Bekmezci followed his passion for football and began playing amateur football for various clubs. During this time, he gained valuable experience in teamwork and determination, which helped shape his career. In the 1990s, during the process of transforming his family business into a corporate structure, Ahmet took on the role of industrial engineer and played a key role in expanding the company’s exports globally. Through this experience, Ahmet developed a vision for growing the family business and competing in the international market. Driven by the desire to achieve his own dreams and passion for founding his own company, he established Atel Tekstil in 2009 and began operating in international trade.
Atel quickly became a supplier firm that adopted international standards in the research, development, production, and export of women’s, men’s, and children’s socks by collaborating with some of the most respected brands in the industry. Today, Atel has solidified its position in the market with a focus on customer satisfaction and the goal of providing high-quality products. Under Ahmet Bekmezci’s leadership, the company continues to grow with a focus on innovation and sustainability.
